Project Erasmus: “Social inclusion through Effective Communication”
The main objective is to test a new approach on teaching using the instruments offered by the Effective Communication and prove that educators properly and specifically trained on how to use these instruments will be able to help Europe facing the major challenges that involve Education and Schools nowadays: Neets, Integration, Early School Leaving…
According to the European Monitoring Centre of Change Neets (considering young people from 15 to 29 years old) in Europe are more than 14 millions. Many are from disadvantaged backgrounds others are not but leave school earlier than expected and have no motivation and are very discouraged by the employment crisis and can’t see or project their future.
This delicate passage has to be facilitated by professionals who are able to handle multicultural or difficult classes.
Educators will be given the most appropriate instruments of effective communication (engaged listening, non-verbal communication, pedagogical use of Meta-program, Representational systems (VAK),Transactional analysis, Rapport and so on) in order to be able to develop for their students the best-customized pedagogy. These instruments generally used by top managers and in the business field will be finally used also by educators. In this way they will be able to interact with each student, especially those with a disadvantaged background (such as refugees, asylum seekers and migrants) and teach them in the best way to get the best results possible (motivation, personalised teaching, multiple intelligences didactic).
This process will involve also families who will be asked to take part in the project with specific meetings.
Once the educators are considered ready they will also teach some of the Effective Communication contents to their students, for example how to avoid and handle conflicts, how to prepare for a job interview, how to recognize and control their emotions..
